Uber is available in Lima, Peru with increasing number of drivers. It is getting more and more famous as drivers can earn extra money by setting own schedule and allowing the app to lead the way.

There are a few vehicle options for Uber in Lima. The most common one is none other than UberX, the low cost Uber. This is the most demanded or favored service in Uber. If you wish to drive with Uber in this category, you must fulfill certain requirements. You car must not be older than ten years, must be a 4-door car, 4-seated passengers with functional seat belts and no caps or taxi marks. In order to be qualified for this category, your car must be a sedan or van that is not older than three years, equipped with air conditioner, electric windows and functional seat belts and no caps or taxi marks. In addition, there must be complimentary water provided on all trips. You, as the driver, must dress up with formal clothing. The new category, UberVAN was launched in April this year in Lima. All vehicles with 7 seats or more and meet the requirements to handle with uberX will now be able to receive orders from UberVAN. Some popular vehicle models include Honda Odyssey, Ford Explorer, Mazda Family, Nissan Patrol, Toyota Highlander and Land Cruiser, Great Wall Hover, Kia Carnival and Hyundai Terracan.
